After graduating from Fairview in 2007, I went on to further my education at Morehead State University; where I earned my Bachelor's degree in 2011 and my Master's in 2014.
This is my 7th year teaching at Fairview, and I could not be more excited! I teach 6th-grade science. I also teach semester courses in Health & S.T.E.A.M.
It is my goal to provide all students with a challenging, yet fun, experience in my classroom. I have extremely high expectations for all my students. I will be expecting all work assigned in class to be completed. Of course, all students do not work at the same pace. Some students will get their work done in class and some will not. If a student does not complete an assignment in class, he or she will be required to complete it at home. In addition to class assignments, tests, and quizzes, I will be assigning projects in various subjects throughout the school year. Projects are to be completed at home. Support from home will not only make students more successful in school this year but will also instill good study habits that will last a lifetime.
It is important to keep the lines of communication open with you. I will be available Monday-Friday to talk with you during office hours. Please do not hesitate to contact me at 606-324-9226 or Holli.Mcclelland@Fairview.kyschools.us if you have any questions or concerns during the year.
I have always been a proud Eagle, and I feel very blessed to be a part of the Fairview School system and the Westwood community!
