Asynchronous/NTI Learning Tuesday, February 16, 2021

The Fairview Independent School District will have an Asynchronous Learning/NTI Day tomorrow, February 16, 2021.

We understand that some of our students and families continue to experience the loss of power. Scheduling tomorrow as an Asynchronous Learning/NTI day will allow us to not extend our calendar beyond our current last day of June 10, 2021. WE WILL ALLOW EXTENDED TIME FOR STUDENT SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMENTS. Teachers will post/communicate assignments before 9:00 AM in the morning. If not before 9:00 AM for all teachers/classes, teachers will as soon as possible. Many are experiencing the loss of power as well.

We hope all of our Fairview Family is staying safe and healthy during this winter storm.

February 12, 2021 - Asynchronous Learning Day along with Monday February 15th and February 22nd

Good Afternoon #TeamFairview,

Tomorrow will be an Asynchronous Learning/NTI Day due to road conditions and the loss of power for so many of our educators and students. No new assignments will be posted for tomorrow since many are without electricity. Students will have time needed tomorrow to get caught up on assignments already provided before returning next week.

Monday, February 15, 2021 and Monday, February 22, 2021, will be Asynchronous Learning Days for all students attending in-person classes on Tuesday/Thursday and Wednesday/Friday. An announcement will be made in the coming week as plans are being finalized to add Mondays for in-person instruction starting March 1, 2021. Our goal has been and continues to be returning to in-person instruction as much as possible. Currently, there has not been any changes to the requirement of 6 foot physical distancing that schools must follow.

We hope everyone stays safe as this winter storm has added even more challenges for many at this time.
