3rd Grade Teacher
Fairview Elementary School
I am proud to be a 3rd grade teacher at Fairview Elementary School. I became a Fairview Eagle in 1992. Fairview is my
home and the awesome students and staff are my family!
Over the years I have taught several different grades at the elementary school and I loved teaching all grades. However,
3rd grade has been my home for many years. I am so
fortunate to have a class full of extremely bright and energetic 3rd graders. They make everyday fun and exciting!
I am a 1978 graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School. I graduated from Marshall University in 1991, and from Morehead State University in 1996.
My Daughter Kameron
My daughter, Kameron, graduated from Fairview in 2010 and Marshall University in 2014. She majored in Theater and Dance. She spent last year working at Highlands Playhouse in Highlands, NC. She has returned home and is teaching English and Theater at Greenup County High School. She plans to begin working on her Master's Degree this summer.
In addition to Kameron, I have TOO MANY other "kids" that all have four legs. Kameron and I love animals and have rescued many cats and dogs over the years. As you can imagine, these guys always keep me busy!!!!!!

Visiting New York City!
When I am not busy with school, Kameron, or my pets, I love to cook and travel. New York City is one of my favorite places to visit! I have lots of great memories and stories of past trips and am anxious to make new memories!
Our 3rd Grade Team
Fairview Elementary has an great staff that truly cares for all of our students and works tirelessly to help the students succeed and reach their full potential. This year our 3rd grade team is Denise Dillow, Becky Hobbs and myself. Both teachers are awesome to work with!
