Creating Your Senior Resume
One of the first items on the agenda for your senior year needs to be the development of your senior resume. This is just simply a document that details the extracurricular and community service activities you have been involved in, your work experience, and any honors or awards you have earned. You should include everything you have done and all awards you have received since the 9th grade. Furthermore, you should include your educational objective (what you hope to achieve as you further your education).
Your senior resume is a way of marketing yourself. You will use it throughout your senior year, and likely beyond. It will be helpful for teachers or other faculty members to use when writing letters of recommendation for you, and they can be included with college admissions and scholarship applications.
